What Makes a Home Feel Premium?

Brochures answer the question with a list: clubhouse, gym, pool, landscaped garden. Those are nice to have. But none of them are in the room with you at nine at night, or at seven in the morning when the house is waking up. What makes a home feel premium is closer in: the proportions of the rooms, where the light comes from, what the surfaces are made of, and how much of your life is yours alone. Here is how to check each one on a visit.

An amenities list tells you what the building has. The rooms tell you how you will live.

Proportions: stand in the bedroom and imagine the bed, the wardrobe and a chair. If there is still a clear path to the window, the room is the right size. Light: ask to visit at the time of day you are usually home, and count the directions the light comes from. One side is a flat. Two sides is a home. Finishes: run your hand along the kitchen counter and look at the bathroom taps. Granite and a known fitting brand tell you someone planned for daily use, not for the photograph. Privacy: walk from the lift to the front door and note how many other doors you pass. At Meadows the answer is none, because there is one home per floor.

“Be Awesome Today!”

None of these checks take more than a minute, and together they tell you more than any list. A home that passes all four will feel settled on the first visit and still feel that way in ten years. One that fails them will not be rescued by a pool. If you would like to run the four checks on a real floor, arrange a visit to Meadows and we will confirm a time with you.
